Epochapex is a concatenation of the words ‘epoch’ and ‘apex’; meaning high-point in a period of time. Right now we are living in a high-point in history. The excesses and decadence or the 21st century are becoming very apparent. What will come in the future is a consequence of humanity’s great gamble.

The art of Epochapex seeks to make the most of our situation before civilization is truly tested. It seeks to document the human condition as it grapples with how to overcome its own decadence. The audience is often to be found late at night listening to music, expressing themselves in Dionysian rapture. As such they are part of the expression of decadence, but fundementally they question the society that produces the need to express this feeling of decadence by dancing the night away.
